About Us
Hunt PanAm Aviation was established in the 1960s in Brownsville, Texas. Our mission is to provide high-quality aviation services to the local community and customers throughout South Texas and Latin America.
Our team at Hunt PanAm Aviation brings a wealth of knowledge and resources, ensuring an exceptional standard of service. Our investors and operational team include local business leaders, many of whom are licensed pilots and FAA Certified A&P mechanics. Our management team includes seasoned pilots and mechanics with decades of experience in operations, regulatory requirements, and customs procedures in Latin America.
At the helm is President Patrick Kornegay, who began his aviation career as a commercial pilot in 1974. With over 33,000 hours of flight time in a wide variety of aircraft, from heavy transports, agricultural aircraft, corporate jets, and general aviation airplanes. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot's Certificate with multiple type ratings, an A&P Aircraft Mechanic's Certificate with Inspection Authorization as well as commercial airman's licenses in Mexico, Nicaragua, and Ecuador.
